Yasmin Essilfie-Mensah is the Managing Director. She holds a B.A. degree from the University of Science and Technology and an Executive MBA in Human Resource Management. She has over 24 years of working experience in Underwriting and Broking in the Insurance Industry.

Rev. Daniel Annan, a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, with a Masters Degree in Finance with over 40 year’s experience in Finance, Accounting, and Administration, takes charge of Finance and Administration.

Head of Technical and Global Business

Mr. Samuel Kojo Afedzie is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Master of Science in Business Administration (Finance Option) also from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, completed in 2001 and 2012 respectively. In the field of Finance and Accounting profession, he further holds Association of Certified Chartered Account (ACCA), UK Level two (2). He has over 16 years of working experience in the Insurance Industry in Ghana having previously worked with the KEK Insurance Brokers from 2004 before joining EMWA in 2019.

Mr. Robert Boateng is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Ghana. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Master of Business Administration (Marketing Option) from Methodist University College. He has over 20 years of working experience in the Insurance Industry in Ghana having previously worked with Enterprise Insurance from 2004 to 2017, Donewell Insurance from 2017 to 2021 before joining EMWA in 2022.

Akwasi Beniako Oppong

Mr. Akwasi Beniako Oppong, a Chartered Insurance Practitioner of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London. He has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry in Ghana having previously worked with the former Great African Insurance Company and Vanguard Assurance Company for ten (10) years before joining EMWA in 2004.

Edlyn Mensah – Ms. Edlyn Mensah, holds a Diploma in Applied Insurance Studies from the Ghana Insurance University College. She has over 15 years’ experience working in the Insurance industry. She joined EMWA in 2013.

William Wood

Senior Manager - Corporate Clients

William Wood – Mr. William Wood is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana and UK. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Human Resource Option) and an Executive Master in Business Administration (Marketing Option) from University of Ghana, Legon. He also holds a diploma in Insurance for Middle-Management from the West African Insurance Institute, The Gambia. He has over 17 years of working experience in the insurance industry and previously worked at Glico General Insurance Company Limited (6 years) as a Senior Underwriter before joining EMWA in 2015.

Offei Boadu Ansah

Offei Boadu-Ansah is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Ghana. He holds a degree from the University of Cape Coast and has over 15 years working experience in insurance industry.
